The first quarter of the year is always packed with company kickoffs, leadership summits, and multi-day events. For us at Charisma Event Productions, Q1 meant traveling across the country and helping clients create high-energy experiences with thoughtful, well-executed conference AV.

From hybrid broadcasts to destination conferences and large awards programs, each event required a different approach. Here’s a look at three of our favorite Q1 events and how strategic conference AV helped bring them to life.

Newmar Conference – Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Newmar hosted a two-day conference in Fort Lauderdale focused on showcasing their newest RV innovations and celebrating team achievements with a dedicated awards evening.

Our team supported the full conference AV experience across the entire event. This included general session production, breakout session support, showroom AV coordination, and full technical execution for the awards program.

We designed custom LED poster signage to help with branding and wayfinding, installed LED video walls, and implemented stage lighting, uplighting, and confidence monitors to create a clean and engaging presentation environment. We also handled photography and videography coverage to help capture the energy of the event.

Events like this are a great example of how intentional conference AV planning can help maintain momentum and excitement from the first session to the final celebration.

Lucid Software CKO – Sandy, Utah

Lucid Software’s annual company kickoff is always a highlight for our team. This was our second year supporting their hybrid CKO, delivering full conference AV production for both in-person attendees and employees tuning in from around the world.

We provided cameras, a custom backdrop, presentation screens, microphones, lighting, laptops, video switching, confidence monitors, and a full technical crew to keep everything running smoothly. The energy in the room and across the livestream was incredible as the executive team shared updates, vision, and goals for the year ahead.

This event was also especially meaningful for our owner, Cooper, who worked at Lucid earlier in his career. Coming back years later as the production partner for such a major event made it a full-circle moment and a reminder of how strong relationships often lead to great conference AV partnerships.

Like most large company events, a lot of behind-the-scenes planning and rehearsal time went into making the experience feel seamless for presenters and attendees.

Intermountain Deal Source Summit – Grand Hyatt Deer Valley

Hosted at the beautiful Grand Hyatt Deer Valley, the Intermountain Deal Source Summit was a 2.5-day conference packed with panels, networking opportunities, specialty breakfasts, and an awards luncheon.

Our team supported the full conference AV scope throughout the event, including audio, video, lighting, LED poster signage, drape, stage setup, and technical coordination across multiple sessions. From the women’s breakfast kickoff to the ski day programming and closing awards lunch, each portion of the event required thoughtful production planning.

Multi-day events like this really show how important consistent, reliable conference AV support can be when schedules are tight and expectations are high.

Looking Ahead After a Strong Q1
